Mental Health America of Indiana is proud to welcome Randy Grimes as the VIP Guest Speaker for our 75th Anniversary Gala.
A Baylor University graduate and award-winning former NFL player, Randy Grimes spent 10 seasons in professional football before developing an opioid addiction while treating career-related injuries. After seeking treatment and rebuilding his life, he has dedicated his career to raising awareness about addiction, recovery, and mental health.
Today, Randy is a nationally recognized keynote speaker who challenges common misconceptions about substance use disorders while addressing critical topics including pain management, mental health, suicide prevention, trauma, addiction in the workplace, and access to treatment.
Through his powerful personal story and passionate advocacy, Randy inspires audiences to rethink these life-and-death issues with greater understanding, compassion, and hope.

The theme of this year’s event, “Removing the Masque,” celebrates individuals who have courageously advocated for themselves and others by raising awareness of mental health and behavioral health challenges.
